Forum down for maintenance.

Some of you will have already noticed that the emergency forum is down for maintenance.

This is because I'm loading the main site alongside it and I don't want anything I'm doing to cause 'live' errors.

Bad news
You won't be able to post today

Good news
I'm hoping I'll have the main site (at least most of it) running again tonight.

No posting today. Go play.
Your patience is appreciated.

Clan-meet '07. Done, but not forgotten.

After a weekend involving much drink, food and (ofc) gaming I must admit to being pretty knackered. I can probably only manage another four or five hours of gaming before I'll have to get some sleep!

Clan-meet '07 was a great success with 16 people from 5 countries converging on a poor and unsuspecting Birmingham. We all had a great time and have taken away many memories.

We're already talking about doing this again next year and the feeling is that we should host it in Germany next time. Many thanks to everyone who came for making it such a great weekend and special thanks to Geo for organising the T-shirts and tags.

Emergency forum reopened

I've reopened the emergency forum that we used when we moved to the new site. It's a little rough and ready and has a load of old posts in it but it will serve as a place to aid comms in the time till we get the main site back online.

Please use the link in the sidebar to access the emergency forum.

Web server in a bad way

Right, latest news on the web server. It seems to be all in one piece but it's refusing to boot properly (without prompting). This means that we can't have it co-located until it is fixed (without camping in the data ctr).

Xulu is going to take it home and give it some TLC. Meanwhile I'm going to look into a tactical and strategic hosting solution (tactical for this week and strategic for once the box is fixed and beyond).

More news as we get it.

For now it's great to see that we're still getting Mayhem populated. I know it would be nice to direct people you meet to the site but it's all about building up a decent server for now. Keep up the good work lads.

Mayhem revival continues

I wanted to say a quick thanks to those who are still getting the Mayhem server started. It was running for quite a while again today and looks like it was full for a while as well.

Good job all.

URL redirection broken

OK, some God isn't happy with us at the moment. Not only has the server gone down but many of you will have realised that the forwarding from the DMZ-Gaming domains isn't working properly either.

Obviously our efforts will be concentrated on getting the main sites back up and running but in the mean time we'll be looking to resolve this issue so the pages redirect to this blog and you know what's going on.

If you could spread the word that this page exists to other members so they can see what's going on that would be a big help.

Updates posted here as we get them.

Update: Looks like they are all resolving properly now.
