I was a colleague and friend of Steven Watson, Brother of Paul Watson. I met Paul and he gave me a CD of the volcano and I asked him if I could put them on Wikipedia Commons. This was in 2007 and I just found the disk a few months ago. I can try and write him if that is required WayneRay (talk) 15:57, 9 January 2015 (UTC)

All the photos that you uploaded in this category and described as "Birth of an Ocean volcano from Sea Shepherd Ship, Photos by Paul Watson with permission to Wayne Ray, Date: 14 December 2006, Source: Own work, Author: WayneRay" appear on a blog from August 2006 http://yacht-maiken.blogspot.co.uk/2006/08/stone-sea-and-volcano.html. They appear to be taken by the crew of a yacht named Maiken. The crew were named Frederik and Hakan. I saw no evidence of any connection between the blog's photos and Paul Watson or the ship called Sea Shepherd. I doubt that Paul Watson took these photos or has copyright ownership. Therefore, I tagged all the files in this category for deletion as copyright violations. I see that these files have now been deleted by an administrator. OH well that's different. I thought they were his, Please delete them and also the ones I put from the same CD on the Cat Sea Shephard wiki's. Look under Category:Sea Shepherd Conservation Society ships My apologies WayneRay (talk) 22:37, 9 January 2015 (UTC)
